          | | Established in 1982 at the request of two local
obstetricians, GYN PATH Services, Inc. (Gynecology Pathology Services)
began processing pap smears and biopsies under the direction of Philip
          A. Miles, M.D., FACOG, FCAP. At the time, Dr. Miles who is board
certified in both OB/Gyn and Pathology, was a Lt. Colonel and a
Pathologist at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and an educator at
          Texas Tech.
From our humble beginnings, we have grown to be the largest clinical
laboratory in El Paso specializing in Cytology, Virology, Molecular
          Microbiology and Outpatient Surgical Pathology.

In October 1999, GYN PATH Services began processing the ThinPrep® Pap
Test, a new method for the automated preparation of microscope slides
for cervical cell samples. GYN PATH Services was the first laboratory
in West Texas and Southern New Mexico to offer this revolutionary test
to healthcare providers and their patients.

In October 2000, GYN PATH Services began processing the Hybrid Capture
II HPV DNA Testing directly from the ThinPrep vial. Currently, we are
the only laboratory processing this advanced testing method locally. The
Human Papillomavirus Virus (HPV) has been established as the main
          cause of cervical cancer.

In January 2002, we began processing Chlamydia Trachomatis and
Neisseria Gonorrhea (CT/NG) directly from the ThinPrep vial using PCR
Amplification. Currently, we are the only laboratory processing CT/NG
using PCR locally. This Nobel Prize-winning technology provides
healthcare providers with the most accurate diagnoses.

In May 2004, after several requests from our referring physicians and
months of extensive research GYN PATH Services announced the
availability of processing Group B Streptococcus (GBS) using PCR
Amplification. The IDI-Strep B is the first and only test cleared by
the FDA that replaces culture to detect GBS in women at the time of
delivery or at 35-37 week of pregnancy. Again, we are the only local
laboratory offering this advanced testing method for GBS detection.

In June 2004, GYN PATH Services incorporated Imaging-Directed Cytology
for use with the ThinPrep Pap Test. GYN PATH is the first and only
laboratory in El Paso and the second laboratory in Texas offering this
breakthrough technology which combines revolutionary imaging
          technology with human interpretive expertise.
