GYN PATH is currently performing the FDA EUA Aptima SARS-CoV-2 Assay. This viral molecular nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) identifies the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This test is authorized by the FDA and is a Qualifying Test method for travel by the CDC. Both RT-PCR and TMA test methods are considered Qualifying Tests required by the CDC. This assay is not an antigen or antibody test, nor is it a rapid test.
Your COVID-19 test results are available 12 to 24 hours after your specimen is received in our laboratory. If after 12 hours you are unable to login in and view the status of your test results online, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We do not receive the samples collected at any of the State sites; EPCC, Tobin Park, SISD or UTEP. Unfortunately, they are sent out of El Paso for processing. If you need to get a COVID-19 Molecular Test, please visit www.revivecovidtest.com to schedule an appointment for collection at no cost, with or without insurance. If you need assistance, please call GYN PATH at (915) 755-8478.
